Flags

Being new to all this, I am wondering what is the signifigance of all the flags I can see on the cruise cam when Pacific Star (nd I assume others) gets back to Brisbane? Do they go up once she is berthed? How long will they be there? Will they still be there when we leave (in 14 more sleeps!!!)

The flags all have a meaning and can be used to communicate with other ships.

However while in port they are flown,as they are today, mainly as decoration.In the same way at night, they may string up a line of lights.
They only go up while in port ,(if the Captain feels like it),and are taken down before sailing.

Thanks Kiwi Kruzer Am watching the cam today but she doesnt seem to be going anywhere. Only two weeks till we will be on her. I sure hope there is nothing wrong.
