I live in Florida and cruise frequently - sometimes as a Hurricane chaser - yes, I am one of those nuts who loves rough seas and a solid force 10 gale...sorry...However, my guess based on the projected track of #2, the storm will drift slowly to the northeast as did Alex but will begin its NE trek sooner - north of the Bahamas most likely. Then, Bermuda could be a target and threaten those Bermuda bound ships. The fronts moving off the Southeast US will most likely keep this storm from our shores, but could threaten The Bahamas if it drifts more on the southerly boundary of NOAH's forecast. Of course, it could go nuts, drop to the south, slip under the islands and end up in the Gulf. Nothing is for sure with these tropical storms, but NOAH's projections are an excellent reference for sound forecasts. I am sailing on the Zuiderdam on the 14th (and did the same in May)...I won't say what I am wishing for, but will tell you I love this ship. We hit a Force 8 one night and she did very well...
