Does anyone have pics of a balcony cabin with the couch bed open on a Vista class ship. We are trying to judge how tight the space becomes with it open for sleeping. We are in a triple VD cabin with a toddler in Nov.

Thank you,

sofa bed would be ok for the toddler. for an adult they are uncomfortable and in my opinion, short I am 5'10" and never had enough leg room. and with using the sofa bed the space to move around the cabin is very limited until it is made up again.

We just got off the 9/09/07 Noordam. We 3 adults were in a VF Balcony. Our cabin had 1 queen bed and the sofa bed and the upper bunk that we did not use. In our cabin, the sofa bed was next to the balcony door. Some of the cabins it is closer to the front door and bathroom. It was comfortable for me, I'm only 5'4". It is crowded so we just folded it up in the morning when I got up. You can't open the frig door when it is unfolded either. It worked out fine for us. Have a great cruise. The balcony door locks too, if your worried about the baby going out. There is also a small end table and curtain between the beds.:)

The Westerdam sofa beds in cabins rated for 3 do not fold out. Rather they flip over or rotate so as not to intrude into the room at all. Also they happen to be very comfortable to sleep on versus the fold out type.

Thank you,

We had a balcony cabin on Noordam with our 6 year old DS. We had the steward just put sheets and blankets on the couch itself and not open the bed. Once the sofa bed is opened, you can't get to your balcony. DS didn't mind and everyone was happy.
