On HAL's gift order form, there is a 4 bottle Wine Package for $82 noted as a "best buy." That's $20.50 per bottle. But which wines are they? HAL has listed "various" Merlot/Chardonnay for $14 per bottle....Anyone in the know?

Whether you pre-order the 4 or 5 bottle wine package, known as the Navigator's Package, you should get a choice of 7 whites and 7 reds. I had the list one time and posted it, but unfortunately it was lost when the new system went in. And I don't recall the names of the wines from the list.

Ship Services may be able to supply you with a list for the packages.

:)I posted the wine list and gift order forms I received from HAL on 8/2/04. I wasn't able to get the link to post correctly so, in order to get the link to work, you have to:

We took 4 bottles of wine and ordered 3 bottles on the ship. We were not charged the corkage fee. 2 of the bottles were on special towards the end of the week. 18.00 bottle for a very good cab.
the other bottle was recom. by the wine steward at the wine tasting.
40.00 a bottle and it was a cab. and pretty good.

Hello Lori & Jeff,

It was nice meeting you at the cabana on Half Moon Cay. Jeff, how did you like the banana boat ride? We had a blast, and can't wait to do our next trip.
Do you have a website for your electrified signs, if so please forward it to our e-mail address is rjwcw@comcast.net.

Thanks,

Cathy & Bob

Ship Services # 1-800-541-1576. My feeling on this wine is that its okay but will not be great. I have ordered ten bottles for my cabin and terrace. HAL does have a fair wine list onboard. If you truly enjoy GOOD wine, you will want to bring some along.:p

But not very good wine. After the plane trip, bus/taxi ride and/or truck to the dock, it'll be weeks before its settled enough to drink! ;)

I arrive one or two days ahead of my departure. If I am going out of FLL I stay at the 66. The concierge services is excellent.;) One call and I am off to buy my wine the morning of the cruise. At dock side the porter takes my things and I go through check-in. I do not see what the problem is:confused: I have THE wine that I enjoy:rolleyes:
