when do the leaves change in this area?
any recent reports of fall foliage for NW itinerary?

Right now...but here in BC and around the coast we don't get a lot of colour like they do back east with the hard woods. A few red maples around that have been imported. Aspen groves in the higher country but mostly deciduous trees here. The colours remain basically green green and a bit of yellow thrown in. Still very pretty but not like back east..

Really?! I live on the island and the entire place is yellow, orange, red and GORGEOUS right now. This is my favorite time of year here. :D

HN must be a true easterner !!! :)
While its true there is really no colour like the hardwood forests back east in the fall we do fairly well out here with our mix of Aspen imported maples and such.
