Many thanks Iknick. I will be staying ten days at the Intercontinal Hotel in BA and one week at the Sheraton in Santiago.
I was just given info on the Lapis and till looking for good quality Poncho's and Gaucho hats. Many thanks.

Florida is BAs shopping street and there may be others there.
Keep in mind, that if you use a credit card in BA, it will come through as a cash advance. Although it seems that the government has stopped/slowed inflation, merchants want their money immediately.
If your in BA for a while, go to the Claridge Hotel [Tucuman 535] and have tea. A better and more formal tea than is now served in the UK. The Claridge is a monument to the British engineers who built Argentina's railroads during the late 1800s.
