Has anyone stayed in the forward ocean view cabins, either 6004 or 6005, or even 7004 or 7005 for that matter? I hear that they are long and narrow, but more importantly are there any real drawbacks to the location? I ended up booking my adult daughter and her BFF in 6005 and I am concerned that she might be seasick if there is much ocean motion. Also since they are so far forward, I wonder if there is pronounced anchor noise. When we booked their cabin, for the December 22 sailing of the Quest, this was the only OV the TA could get us. Thanks for your help. :)

Stayed in 4005, which is a different configuration, so I can't comment on that, but almost as far foward. Didn't notice any additional motion, or any anchor noise. Thrusters were very noticible, but in use only during docking. Probably the thing we noticed most about that location was an awareness of the bow breaking through waves - a "vibration" I guess, as that was right about where the bow hit the waves. (However, didn't bother us - lets you know you're on a ship!)

I've been on this ship when it was part of the Ren fleet and there is a big difference between deck 4 and 6 or 7 when it comes to motion on a small ship. If prone to seasickness, I would stay midship and lower if possible. Happy Sailing!

That was me. Cabin was nice and big and motion was not an issue until the last day of our sailing when seas got rough. In 15 sailings, I've never been sick, but I was pretty dizzy after a short trip to our cabin to change clothes on that day. In fact, I usually like seas to be a little rough so I know I'm at sea. We experienced near weightlessness when hitting the big waves and hull noise was significant at times. It sounded like someone banging a sledge hammer against the hull when we'd hit a big wave. Seas were very rough, though so I guess it depends if you want to chance it. Sea spray was flying well over deck 6--up to 9 and 10 at times. We actually had a small puddle of sea water on our window ledge from all the spray. In normal seas on the way down to Bermuda, it was not an issue. No anchor noise because we only docked so I can't speak to that.
