We are going on the Mexican Rivieria cruise abaord the Oosterdam on Nov 10th.
Any ideas what the weather should be like?
What are good things to buy at the ports?
What entertainment on board is offered besides bingo and the nightly variety show?
Thanks

The average temperature in November is 75. And there are historically only a few days of rain during that month. So it should be pretty nice.
You'll find typical touristy stuff in the ports. Vanilla (liquid and beans) is very big among the vendors. You'll find hats, pottery and woven items as well.
Onboard you can take advantage of team trivia and other games, dancing, and some individual performers. Could be a comedian, pianist, juggler, magician, or something like that.

Re entertainment on board. There are bridge tourneys, there is a casino, there are scheduled activities of all kinds from putting into the pool to a rubber chicken toss. There is daily team trivia and board games galore. You will see entertainers brought on board just for you from magicians to soloists to comedians. I never lacked for something to entertain myself with.

We did this route the beginning of Dec. last year and had beautiful warm weather.

I've been in October, which is horribly hot and humid, and February which is just perfect. I'm going again in December, so November is right in the middle there, so I would still say coming off October, it's still going to be quite hot and humid, but probably not as bad as October. I've been 3 times in October and it was really hot and humid then.

It is easy to put a stamp inside a bracelet that implies Sterling silver but it isn't always honestly sterling.
I have bought a little silver in Mexico (not my favorite metal) but the pieces were pretty and I've been lucky in that they have worn well and seem to be sterling.
I would recommnd buying from a reputable shop rather than a street vendor.
