We are going to be in a VC room. Can someone let me know if there are fridges, coffee pots and hair dryers in the room?
Do they have a chocolate buffet?
How does internet service work? We heard some quantity is free and that there is WIFI. Does this work in rooms and on verandas?
On a 10 night cruise we were told 3 formal nights. Does anyone know what nights generally?
Do they have soda bracelets?
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!

We are going to be in a VC room. Can someone let me know if there are fridges, coffee pots and hair dryers in the room? Yes to fridges and hair dryers, no to coffee pots ... and DON'T bring your own.
Do they have a chocolate buffet? There's a Dessert Extravaganza toward the end of the week, but it's not all chocolate.
How does internet service work? We heard some quantity is free and that there is WIFI. Does this work in rooms and on verandas? No free internet. $3.95 start-up fee, then $0.75/min, or buy a block of 100 min for $55, or 250 min for $100. There's a few hotspots around the ship, and a few lucky rooms near the hotspots can detect a usable signal. Other than those, all you have in rooms is dial-up at about 28 kbps.
Since you don't have access to the Neptune lounge, your hotspots will be the Explorations Cafe, the Crow's Nest, the Lido pool area, and in and around the atrium. My favorite spot is the Ocean Bar, starboard side. Or on sea days, at a table at the forward end of the Lido pool area, where you can watch the ocean view while on-line! Another popular spot is out on the Promenade, just outside the Explorations Cafe. :)
On a 10 night cruise we were told 3 formal nights. Does anyone know what nights generally? We only had 2 formal nights on our 10 day cruises on Vistas, but they were both in Europe. The first formal night will be on your first sea day. Others will vary, but will not be the last night aboard.
Do they have soda bracelets? No. Just soda punch cards. 20 "glasses" for $20.70. A "glass" is 1/2 can, and it may be the 2nd half of a can that has been open too long, and is flat. Not a good deal IMO. Buying by the can costs only about 20 cents per can more.

If you buy a block of internet time on the first day you get a "bonus" of 10 minutes on the 100 block, or 20 minutes on the 250.
