first time noordam

Can Anybody tell me anything about entertainment on Noordam, any tips, we are sailing jan 25th...never sailed HOLLAND AMERICA...thanks mark:p

For evening entertainment there will be a show in the show lounge every night. This will be a variety of shows ranging from production shows to individual singers, comedians, musicians, magicians, things like that.
There's also entertainment in the various lounges. There will be strings in the Explorers Lounge, a combo in the Ocean Bar, a piano player in the Piano Bar, probably a combo in the Crow's Nest, and records in the Northern Lights disco.
There's usually a movie in the Queens Lounge.

In the daytime there will be various activites around the ship. This will include team trivia, other team games, cooking demonstrations, "athletic" activities such as putting, chicken toss, ping pong.

There's certainly enough going on to keep anyone too busy to enjoy the pool and sunshine!

Ruth has pretty much covered it, mutualmanager! It's a wonderful ship...we're doing a repeat cruise on 2/6!

One show that is unique to HAL is the Indonesian and Filipino crew show. It is usually on the 5th night of a 7-day cruise, or 8th night of a 10-day, at 11:15p. Many of the waiters and stewards in the crew perform their native songs and dances. It will be broadcast on your TV the next day if you miss it live! :)

I haven't seen it, but I heard that the crew show is fabulous.
