Hi Everyone,
I am soon cruising with two cruising virgins! As you imagine, that's pretty much all we're talking about!
I'm wanting to give them some more "teasers" to get them even more excited over our cruise.
I'm wondering, what would you say are the Pros & Cons of Cruising?
Pros for me would be the yummy food, being able to have a drink and not worry about driving, having my room made, fabulous places to visit.
Con: Having to leave :(
What would be your Pros & Cons?
Happy Cruising!! :)

I compare cruising to a buffet. You get to sample so many wonderful places and meet so many different people.

Con...going to Noumea
Hahahaha true!
Pro - opening the cabin door after dinner to see the night light on and the bed turned down :D The food. The atmosphere. No cooking or cleaning. Smiling, happy faces. The islands. Duty free shopping :D Trying new food each night.
Con - having to leave. Waiting to disembark :( People pushing in to get to the buffet, tenders, duty free, etc. The wind on deck on sea days. Seasickness (not that I get it but it's bad for others). Being inside the cabin with my husband's stinky wet sandshoes that just never seem to get dry

everyone's written what I wanted to say!
but I also love:
looking at the never ending ocean (you know when there is absolutely no land in sight) and knowing that there is a great mystery beneath you.
being gently rocked to sleep
waking up and seeing an island approaching
sunsets on the ocean (I imagine the sunrises are pretty good too!)
the sense of "adventure" everyone on board shares-(well nearly everybody- there's always a few poo-pooers no matter where you go) -everyone is pretty friendly sharing the "experience" together
taking kids overseas with very little drama (airports travelling etc)
CONS- none of which are big enough to even mention!

Me too Carlz, i think everyone has pretty much covered the pro's.
Cons: Definitely having to pack my bags and get off. Oh and taking several weeks to cope with having to do things myself again...eg. cooking, cleaning etc...:D

The Pros
The amount of food
Being rocked in bed each night with the rolling waves
Getting home - Relaxed and Rejuvenated
The Cons
The amount of food - takes weeks to diet it off again
Being rocked out of bed as the waves really get rolling
Getting home and wishing you were still on board with the amount of food and rocking bed.
