We've signed up to do most of the Grand Asia Pacific cruise on Mariner next year, and I know it's doing a very similar cruise this year right now. Anyone on board for the Singapore to Sydney or Sydney to Auckland legs? I'd love to hear about it, if you are.

Hi,

My cousin and his wife are onboard the Mariner now, heading for Australia. Maybe they'll read this. I'm also going to join up with the cruise in Auckland, NZ.

I'm mainly replying because I noticed where you're from. I grew up in Westport, CT and get back there every couple of years. How long have you lived there and what age group are you in? Too bad you won't be on this year's cruise. We could talk about Westport. ;)

We've lived in Westport for about 20 years, but have a place in Naples, Florida now which is our primary residence. We are in our early 60's and have been cruising for many years, but mostly on Silver Sea. We've been on Regent before and have always enjoyed our cruises with them, and we really liked the Grand Asia Pacific itinerary, so decided to go next year. We did a fabulous cruise this year on SS, and were away for a long time, so this year wasn't an option for us. We're looking forward to visiting Australia and New Zealand, so if you have any advice for us, please post.

GlibLib,
This is my first experience cruising. My cousin and his wife suggested this cruise and I'm really looking forward to it.
