View Full Version : Are we the only ones who never got a final statement on Quest 10/24-26?

When I checked our balance on the TV the last evening, our OBCs for shareholder credit and for having our PrimeC reservation canceled had not shown up, although our charges made on the ship were there. Mom had the same experience.

We each checked at the desk and was told that these credits would be applied during the night. Next AM, I looked at the TV system, and the menu no longer included an option to check the account balance.

The line at the desk was ridiculously long, so we decided to just get off and deal with any problems later.

Do you usually get a final statement under your door the last night, as at a hotel? Or is our experience the norm for a cruise ship?

Normally, you get a statement under the door. I did not get one either. I called the front desk very early on the 26th, when the thrusters woke me up, and requested one.
I was shocked when they asked me if I wanted to pick it up or have it delivered.
They did deliver it about an hour later. My credit for the cancelled dinner was on it. If you check with your credit card company, they should be able to tell you how much was charged. Hopefully, it will agree with your records.

Hi Donna, no we didn't get a printed final account copy and like your's it was not on TV in the AM. We did look at it the night before and we had (2) OBC's showing for $ 25.00 each and another for $ 25.00cr listing customer service - don't know what that was for have not seen final bal or statement so we will see.

And yes this is the first cruise we have had w/o getting a printed final account under the door:eek: .

Say hi to Frank for me:)

Nope, I didn't get one either, though requested. I already have a letter in to Customer Service abouth this and other issues. I did keep all of the handwritten charge slips, and copies of what should have been on there for obc. Never had this happen on a cruise before, and again just a general lack of service on Azamara's part.

The printer was broken. We asked, asked, and asked again for a bill for the 2 night cruise. Finally received one this morning. Our credit for no speciality dining was on. Also, there was NO charge for gratuities. We did NOT pay in advance. So all of you who did pay in advance, you might want to ask for a refund.

Checked the credit card charge, and it was about what I'd expected, so all is well. Based on the amount, we did get charged for tips, unlike Hotroot - which is only fair, because we really did get excellent service (despite the experiences of others in that area).

Any of the 5-day people able to comment on whether it was fixed by the end of that sailing?

Hi GRBlizz !

It was working for all of the 5 night sailing (that I know of), and the onboard charges printout was at our door on the final morning of the 5 night sailing.
