Hi cruisers

Was just thinking of all the funny CC saying's that we refer to now and then, Minxy moments, rooten cabins, don't forget your toothbrush, and my new one Arx Geoff:p , and Geoff naming Geri and I the "Poultry sisters" haha

Any others you can think of we have had laugh about??

Chez,
I think there a lots of funny phrases and posts here.

I think a bit of tipping vocabulary upset some of the US folk awhile back. Stiffing by taking off the AWS.
Wonderful formal night attire like Safari Suits, mankinis, high tide shoes, poison Ivy dresses.

I am sure I have only scratched the surface on these.

Cheers
Geoff

and Minxy I was also thinking Foo foo drinks, (where did that come from??) and the Naughty Corner:p for discussing rollerskates, safari suits and AWS:rolleyes:

It just got me thinking about the way we talk, and others reading our forum must go "What the heck??" bet they have good giggle though:)

I remembered an OLD post that had a photo of an inside cabin attached to it. Someone re-hashed it and led our attention towards the 'FAMILY FRIEND' that was sitting on the desk in the photo ;)

I think FAMILY FRIEND is a cute name for it, don't you? LOL!

Then family friend then became the 'toothbrush' we now know and love hahaha:D :D

Not sure I agree with you minxy. That suggests that the family uses it. I think GIRL'S BEST FRIEND would be more appropriate:D .

A manual is good for a cruise , an electic one is just another thing to plug in and recharge.

I think the post was in the photo section

One one my video tapes from our cruise in September I have the CD, Adam Goder, listing some of the questions that he's been asked in his time on ships.. Some of which feature in this list.

Would certainly be asking the moderator to try! How embarassing.

Will probably get pulled now that we have brought it up again.

Karon,
I guess they uploaded it and forgot about it, and they would have missed the discussion as well.
If it is removed from the source, it will not be seen from the link any longer. It is only speculation too - it may be a perfectly innocent item!
(or so I've heard ;) )
