Traveling on Oosterdam 12/8 and wondering about the cost for the cooking demonstrations/classes and do you need to book early and where?

There's no charge for demonstartions---just show up (early) and get a seat. The cooking classes are $29 each, and limited to 12 people. Sign up (early) at the Front Desk.

On all ships, the demonstrations are free, but the classes are $29. Sign up at the front desk ASAP after boarding.

Loved the class I attended (a paid one). Even got an apron that will come in very handy when I try out the recipies

I found the classes to be excellent. Be sure to sign up early!!! I think the classes are very inexpensive. I had my husband come down at the end of each session and also taste the food.

I like to cook and was delighted that I learned new things. An example is that I had never actually used a real vanilla bean and learned how. I love the taste and now I will use it.

The recipes are terrific and I have enjoyed them.
