Hi Matt:) I had asked about this Lounge too...what is it exactly? An area that only "Suite Passengers" are allowed to enter?

The doors to the lounge are normally locked. S & PS passengers are given key cards to enter.

The only time I have ever seen them (need to) lock the doors to the Neptune Lounge was last summer on Zuiderdam for our b-to-b's. For some reason, folks who were not in "S" and "PS" decided they would come in, sit down and help themselves. The concierges did not want to have to keep dealing with it so they made key cards for all the Suite pax and kept the door locked. No key; no enter.
On every other ship, every time we have been there, no need for locking the door. The concierges know who the suite pax are right from the very start. They know suite pax by name, by face, by cabin number within hours of everyone boarding.

I was on the Oosterdam in January in an S suite. The Neptune Lounge was locked all the time. Our normal cabin "key" unlocked the Neptune Lounge.

We had friends who were on the Zuiderdam when she first sailed. The key cards were already in place from the beginning - Neptune Lounge was designed to have her doors locked at all times so there wouldn't be a problem with "other" guests.
We used the key cards on the Oosterdam as well.
We did have a problem on our November cruise on the Maasdam. That was when HAL was putting out the new brochures and had dropped the "A" and "B" category names and were refering to those cabins as "verandah suites". Not delux like for "S" and "PS". There was one couple whom our concierge could not keep out of the Neptune Lounge no matter how many times she tried to explain who was permitted to use the lounge. It was a hassel all week. We felt sorry for her. The next week a sign was made with the cabin numbers listed as to who was allowed to use the lounge. But when we got on the Maadam in May, that sign wasn't there any longer.
