Did anyone stay in this cabin ? Any info? It's our first cruise and we booked a guarantee SC - this is apparently an SA. What's the difference? The balconies looked bigger in the SC category.

Congratulations on your first cruise! The SA is an upgrade from the SC. You're correct, the SC balconies are larger, (but as a trade off the SC rooms can be slightly smaller). The attraction of the SA cabins is the location - midship, close to the Neptune Lounge. It's great to stop in the Neptune Lounge for a quick snack, coffee, etc. We stayed right near your cabin on our cruise last month and loved the location.

Thank you for that - we are very excited to be onboard next weekend, the 16th. We're arriving into Miami on 14th and staying at the Lago Mar resort in Fort Lauderdale for 2 nights. If we like it, we're planning on an Alaska cruise next, so fingers crossed we do make the most of the experience.

We just got back last Saturday and we were in cabin 7074 on the zuiderdam. We ADORED the suite and will never ever go less than ever again. It was my boyfriends first cruise and he agreed it was amazing. All the extra pampering was awesome including being able to come home with CLEAN laundry!!!! They bring it to you wrapped in tissue paper.:)
We loved being midship near the Neptune for our morning lattes and afternoon apps.
I am jealous, you are going to have a ball!
Have fun!

Hi neighbor :) We will be right down the hall from you in 7052!
If you haven't already, you should join the Westerdam 12/16 "Roll Call" thread here on Cruise Critic (look under "Roll Calls", then "Holland America", then "Westerdam", then "12/16 sailing", and read all the posts from the rest of the excited sailors!) - there are already 50+ of us CC's listed as sailing, with a sailaway party at 3:00pm and a meet and greet the next day at 11.
Looking forward to a great relaxing vacation!
