Connecting cabins on Zuid. noisy??

We are trying to choose a cabin on the zuiderdam. Not a lot left. We are considering one cabin that is connecting. We are only 2 people and need only 1 cabin, do you think we could hear the neighbors through the connecting door? Has anyone had connecting cabins on the Zuid.?

Both doors are insulated, so there shouldn't be any more noise than would normally come through the walls anyway. We've only heard "routine" sounds from neighbors on older ships. I don't recall on the Zuiderdam ever hearing anything from either side of us. I think you'll be fine.

We were in a connecting cabin on the Oosterdam, nearly a duplicate of the Zuiderdam, and heard nothing much. The noise was no different than expected from next door. I would not be concerned.
