Osterdam question

I thought I read somewhere that the Osterdam would be changing homeports (San Diego to where?) in the next year or two. Is that correct, and will it be doing Caribbean rather than Mexican Riviera?

Pretty sure she'll be doing Carib cruises out of Ft Lauderdale from MAR through NOV 09 and then returning to San Diego

The calendar on Hal's site shows the Oosterdamn in Europe May,July,Aug of 2009.

I forgot all about the Oosterdam heading to Europe in 2009 as she will go into dry dock to get the changes like the Westerdam.

It looks like Oosterdam will be doing Mexico Jan 08-April... and then will head up for the summer to Alaska... Early October it will then be doing round trips San again. as for 2009 it is set to do Mexicos in the fall and winter and then Europe in the summer!

AND that means she's doing a Panama Canal transit :) in late March 2009 on her way between Mexico and her retrofit in Europe in April. Last chance to see the Canal from one of those fabulous pre-retrofit aft verandas, everyone! :D (Ooops - maybe I should have kept that insight to myself ...:p )
