View Full Version : Another HAL Immigration Form Query

We booked a specific cabin # in BB cat. for the 14-day Rotterdam holiday sailing. I downloaded the immigration form, typed in our booking # and the form shows our names, but no cabin #. The form does not even have a spot where a cabin # would be indicated. Do I have to complete the entire form and then our cabin # will appear somewhere? Am I missing something?

:)
Why are you printing your immigration forms so early for a Holiday sailing?
Chances are HAL hasn't even started filling in their paperwork on the computers as that cruise is 4 months away.

Actually, we've printed our forms for the 12/12 Westerdam cruise and filed them. I wanted to get things done before the hectic fall and holiday schedules. Our cabin # is listed at the top beside the booking # and just above the name. I don't remember if it appeared when I typed in the booking or later, but it's on the form.

Any time we have done the immigration forms on-line, the cabin number was already on the form.
HMMMM?? Maybe the upgrade fairy is working for them??

I just checked my Immigration form and the cabin # does not appear, but when you click "submit" it, appears next to your booking # as ASM said. It will be on the printed copy. Make sure you take this with you. I usually make 2 copies for everyone - hand one in a check-in and keep the other one in with our documents. We also booked a specific cabin for our Holiday cruise.
I have completed my form but not printed it yet as there may be changes to our flight before we leave. That way, I can just "edit", print. and submit.
DH and daughter have yet to give me their passport #'s but when they do I will complete theirs also.
KK - what difference does it make if you do it now or later. It will just be filed in their computer under your booking. I always do it as soon as I have our booking # and air schedule. That way, it's done. If there are changes, they can be made before we actually leave.

KK -- like ASM & ESME, I like to take care of necessary paperwork in advance (ingrained habit -- 30 yrs as a legal sec/paralegal);) . Booked the holiday cruise beginning of Jan, booked the hotel for overnight stay & printed out the driving directions in Feb. Since then, I've enjoyed watching this board for members' recommendations & opinions for a couple of the ports that we'll be visiting for the first time, making notes whenever I find something.
TO ALL -- you really are a great group! Very generous in sharing opinions, experiences, helpful tips. Much appreciated. Thanx a bunch.

Thank you all for the flames.

Flames? I don't think anybody would say you had been 'flamed'. Three gals do their immigration forms as soon as they have a booking # and don't understand why you think that's too early since it all its in a computer. Nobody said you were wrong, they just don't know why you think that's too early. Who flamed ya'?

No flame but after reading this thread decided to do our immigration forms online this afternoon for our Dec 5 Westerdam cruise. When I put our invoice number and name in it says that we are not registered under that invoice number for our name. I just sent HAL an e-mail asking them what is going on.
When we first booked I went to the site and put our invoice number and name in and the room number came right up. We are booked for a definite cabin - 8063.
KK, pls tell me the secret of burning calories when being flamed.

KK -- My Goodness! Flames? Certainly hope your comments weren't directed at me. My response was in no way meant to be rude or disrespectful to anyone. Just thought I'd explain the reason for my query so far in advance of our cruise. Sorry if you took offense. :(

Southbound, It was a perfectly legit question. We always do ours as early as possible. I like to get all the arrangements and paperwork handled way ahead of time.
Did you get your problem handled?
