Gang-

We are cruising on the Wonder on September 19th and need to get Disney Bus transfers... I called Disney and they were very SHORT with me(which upset me) claiming that ALL arangements should be done thru the travel agent. So when I call our travel agent. He claims that ok the bus company will call you and do the payment with us directly? Well after several days of waiting the Disney Bus line has NOT contacted us yet and our boat sails in a month....

I am making NO leway with my agent nor The rude person at Disney that I spoke with.. Is there a way I can call the Disney Bus line and pay myself for this transfer? I did a web site search on google but came up with NOTHING? No links... Can anyone offer me some help? Anyone work for disney? I am going to call Disney again this Monday to try to get more info.. Hopefully from a NICER person... Not one that has NO time to talk to a customer and hurries them off the phone!!!!!!

I am really geared to call Disney about this because this is NO way to be treated in my opinion. Especially after spending the Money I have for this cruise... Sorry If I sound upset.. Just makes me very disapointed. I hear NOTHING but good things about this cruise line...

Thanks for your help..

Your TA should book the transfers for you and add the price to your cruise!!! I don't know if there is a way to set this up separately. You might ask someone on disboards.com as those people are repeat disney cruisers and really know the ins and outs.

As an aside, we will be on the exact same cruise 1 year after you (9/18/05). I am especially interested in hearing about the weather when you go. Pls post a review when you get back!!!:)

p.s if all else fails, many on the disboards recommend renting a car from budget and taking it to the port (known as a 1 way rental)...its lots cheaper than the transfers & budget will then take you to the ship.

If there are more than 2 in your party try Fla tours Limo. Very good service. As for the buses they were fun to do once but they are just Mears transport painted differntly, Disney touches but just ok ride.

Generally transfers have to added at the time of booking with your travel agent and Disney. You can call Mears yourself and book the transfer at 407-423-5566. Transfers with Mears are $25 per person. Another option that I have found is using Quick Transportaion which meets you in the terminal and you go in a private mini van to the hotels or pier and it is cheaper that Mears. You can call them at 888-784-2522. Have a great trip.

All taken care of now.. Thanks all of you.. My travel agent finally called me back and got it all straight and added to our package.. I originally bought the cruise itself. NO airfare or anything.. I bought the airfare about a month ago and saved roughly about $1000 there.. So I never purchased an entire package... So Sometimes it doesn't always pay head ache wise to do things your self!!!

THanks again

Glad it worked out. No worries, you could even get the transfers and pay for them when you arrived at MCO. It works out much better to do it yourself. You did well. Have a great trip.
