Just wondering if anyone has ever booked a cruise through a travel expo? There is one coming up in our area in couple of weeks and thought I might go and have a look. I am hoping they really do have great deals going.

Yes....we've booked our first two cruises through expos. Well, the first one, picked up the flyers at the expo, and booked a few days later. Our second cruise, we booked on the day, and paid almost half of it it right there and then!!:eek:
If it is a Cruise only expo, there can be some excellent deals.:) The travel expos, such as Getaway, tend to have little in the way of specials, if any.:rolleyes:

which city is the travel expo located and what are the dates for it, might go along myself if I can. it is good just to have a look at these things and get more information. they sometimes have guest speakers or even videos and slide show about the destination. you may even find that some of the ports of call are represented.

It's at the Newcastle Jockey Club, wherever that is. I will have to see if I can get time off to go and check it out. Might be able to swap my shift. It's on the 16th January. Might be worth the hour and a half drive for me if I can get a good discount on a cruise.
