just to let you know, there was a lady there at vila same as usual, I didnt ask if she was chrissy but assumed she was, same kind of sign etc

We had a lovely chat with Chrissy and I can confirm that she is definitely ok! Apparently her daughter got a little of a fright from the news report and called her brother in a panic at midnight when she heard it. For those who are interested in helping Chrissy out she will happily accept notes in exchange for coins as she cannot change them either.

I can confirm that there was indeed an Australian woman murdered in Vila. She was a 69 year old retired teacher and they believe she was murdered by her gardener. The police captured him but he escaped. We had a read of the local newspaper while in Vila and it was front page news. There was actually two murders in Vila but I can't remember the details of the other one.
