Question about verandah --Westerdam

Can anyone provide info about de-lux verandah cabins on Westerdam? In particular are they covered or open? How private are they? Is there any deck that is better than others?
Any other info would be helpful.

I believe all the deluxe verandahs are covered on the Vista class ships, except the aft cabins from the 7th deck down(can't remember names) At least on the Zuiderdam, all the verandahs have a clear railing except the forward cabins on the 4th deck, so I'd personally not pick one of those category B cabins.

The trade off on the aft cabins, while open to viewing from those above, they are very deep and provide a lot of extra space.

We had a suite on the Oosterdam and the verandahs midship are all covered. The verandahs are smaller than on the "R" and "S" class of ships.

Which side of the ship is better? I am thinking of when we are in port.
