Lois, I think he left a couple weeks ago now...he had an engagement in Denmark and on August 23 he is appearing at the Pacific National Exhibition in Vancouver. I will miss him too and hope that he returns for March. He was fantastic when I got to see him last month.

We saw him on the Veendam last March and he was very well received. I'm not an Elton fan and couldn't tell you what many of his songs were but the show was still enjoyable. He does have a web site that has some short clips of his act etc if you want to check it out.

My wife and saw his show on the Veendam in March '03, and I would have to say that it is a can't miss show. Normally, I am not a big singer show fan and we skip the show, but my wife dragged me into this show. I was never a big Elton John fan prior to seeing Joel's show, but I have since bought a two disc CD as Joel created such a passion for the music that I had to have more. If he is on board, do not miss the show! Everytime I put the CD in, I think of the great cruise we had.
