We were previously sailing on the Westerdam on 11/23/08 and our on line booking agent called Thursday (my birthday) and informed us that our cruise had been cancelled. Our agent did not know why. However, they have offered us the same sailing date on the Eurodam in the same cabin class. We had booked cabins VA5184 and VA5185 on the Westerdam. I realize that the Eurodam is not sailing yet but cabins VA4185 and VA4187 are avilable but looking at the deck plans the deck 4 aft cabins look smaller than the other aft cabins. Any thoughts from you veterans??

If you mean those cabins on the wake across the back of the ship, they are smaller than the suites on either end (corners) but they have larger balconies than the VA cabins on the sides of the ship. I love the wake cabins.
Your cruise was probably chartered and if so, HAL should have offered you an incentive to change ships. Ask your TA for something, even a small OB credit since HAL cancelled your trip after you deposited. Sometimes they also offer a partial refund or a higher cabin grade than what you booked.
Good luck,
