How depressing. Booked the Oo for 8-21 over 6 months ago and had to cancel today. Traveling with my 83 year old dad and he had what we hope will be a minor medical situation arise. Already had the bags in the car. We do hope the pax who end up in B4053 and 4051 enjoy their upgrades. Sure would sure be nice for someone with an inside to end up with a balcony.

How terrible is that? I almost hate to ask this: Did you get any money back?

All my best wishes for your father's speedy recovery.

I hope you had insurance to recover your funds. Then you can pay for the replacement cruise!

Peggy,

I am so sorry to hear of your Dad's illness. I hope he will soon be on the way to recovery.

It is hard to have to cancel especially as your bags were in the car, but we hope that you and your Dad will be having many more happy cruises together. Make the most of him, I lost my beloved Dad in January.

So sorry to read about your Dad's sudden medical emergency - hopefully only minor and that you all had to cancel your cruise just days before sailing.

Hope your dad is all right.

Hope everyone had insurance.

Peggy,

We don't know each other; but, I hope that everything has turned out OK for your father and that you end up booking an even more wonderful cruise to look forward to. I think it was really great of you to think of others 'inheriting' your cabins even while you've had all of your personal problems on your mind; obviously, you're a very thoughtful, caring person.
