Still no word from HAL cruiser TT after Charley

:( Our own TT (Toma) has not posted since Charlie. She is in Port Charlotte and in her last postings said she planned to stay home and ride out the storm.:(

If anyone can send some good thoughts her way, her fellow 9/4 cruisers will join in. We are all hoping she is just dealing with power issues and will be able to check in with us soon.

So many in that area are still without power. Hopefully that is all she has to deal with. That area was realy hit with Charley.

Our prayers are for TT.

I have a friend who lives in Port Charlotte and she got through by telephone to me on Monday. Cordless and wireless phones do not work. There is no electricity so the cordless ones won't work and the towers are gone for the wireless. Apparently, there is a Walmart up and running and she went and tried to buy a "hard wired" phone and they were sold out (the ones that work without electricity). She has a neighbor who has a generator and he runs power to her house in daytime but they cut it off at night. She and neighbor stayed in their house. Part of roof is gone and porch is gone from my friends home and all the big trees are gone from her yard. I live here in Fl near Tampa and they got our storm. We feel so for them and are helping every way we can.
