This was posted on another board and I found it interesting. Amazing how many beds there are to fill on the oceans today!

Interesting...
I'm curious though, it shows the new Westerdam with a capacity of 1,494... I thought it was over 1,800? :confused:

This is insane...Carnival Glory (3,700). That's almost 600 more people than on Voyager class ships of RCI (and I thought they were overcrowded!)

And in spite of the economy, the cruise lines are filling those berths. Very few cruise ships begin sail with a lot of empty beths. They manage to fill them even if it does mean selling those last berths at deep redcutions.

The number of pax the Westerdam can carry should be around 1848, the same as the rest of the Vista's. I think they have posted the pax number from the old Westerdam, the Costa Europa now.
