In January on the Oosterdam we were able to use the Pinnacle for breakfast and lunch since we were in a suite. Can you do this on the Zuiderdam?

Not on the Zuiderdam and from what I understand not at all anymore. There is still the lounge but limited. We used roomservice and had breakfast in our room

No - sad to report.
HAL has discontinued the use of the Pinnacle Grill, Queen's Room, and King's Room for breakfast and lunch for the suite passengers on ALL ships.
When we were on the Maasdam in May, we were informed that we were the last suite passengers to have this wonderful service avail able to us.

That is no longer offered as a Suite amenity.

Thanks for the info. We really enjoyed the quick service in the Pinnacle. Guess we will just have to do more breakfasts on the verandah, which is certainly not a hardship!

jazzsea reported a few days ago that she heard that the menu in the Neptune Lounge was to be improved. She didn't have any details as to when or what was being added to their menus - really don't have one - just continental breakfast.
Will find out when we get on the Statendam in October and see if any changes have taken place.

We are also on the O Jan2.
Check the rollcall thread for that sailing. Fellow cruisers are starting to log in.
My wife and I and another couple that always cruise together are going.. We are spending New Years at the Marriott Marina.
Should be fun
