We're taking my 9-year-old sun to the Eastern Caribbean in early Nov. I'm worried about HAL having enough for him to do. He's only been on Carnival.

We just got off the Millennium with 3 families, 6 kids aged 4 to 9. We cruise at leat once a year and this was my 9 year old's 11th cruise. The kids have liked RCI and Princess's programs a lot. Celebrity's program was just as good, infact our kids might have liked it better.
We have been planning next years trip and were looking into the Eurodam. From what I can tell their youth program has more limited hours. Celebrity's program was open from 9am all the way to 1am. We called HAL and they stated that the program is not open in port, and that the night program doesn't begin until 8pm. Ther also said that they do not schedule kids dinners(Celebrity does dinner with the program every night if you want, RCI and Princess do 2 or 3 nights per cruise).
We decided to stay with Celebrity for next January. I did a review on the Celebrity Board and it has a alot of info on the kids program " Just Back fro the Millennium Jan 20 ".
