Regarding the Eastern C. schedule for the Z with a stop in Nassau-- The port times for Nassau are stated differently on many web sites I visit. Some say 12-6, 12-7, 12-9. Which is it and what time do you have to be back on the ship? I am interested in doing the Comfort Suites/ Atlantis day and want to figure out if I really have enough time to make it worth it. I'm also not sure how much time to allow when leaving the Atlantis (via taxi) to not cut it too close to the deadline.... if anyone has any suggestions.:)

Address this question to Superstein61 - he just got back from the eartern Caribbean on the Zuiderdam.

In fact if you hunt down a page or two you should find his thread about his cruise and he did talk about Nassau.

Thank You all. The HAL website says 12-9. I had a feeling that wasn't correct. I wish they'd get their act together in that regard.

HAL's website shows that the Zaandam stops there on her February 8, 2005 cruise, staying from 10 am - 10 pm. That sounds like a nice long time to visit Atlantis. Hope this helps!

Later Edit: Oooops. Just read the other responses to your question and realized that, by "Z" you mean the Zuiderdam. Ah, so!

People, there are now 2 HAL ships that start with Z ... and sometimes they're both in the same sea, on similar itineraries. That is a prescription for confusion. Historically the Z-Dam was the Zaandam, and I still think of her that way. I suppose we all need to have a little more precision in distinctions between the Zaandam and the Zuiderdam.
