We are taking a cruise on the PG, departing Feb 23 (less than three weeks - cannot wait). Anyways, my question is regaurding food/meals. Reading the sample menus on the RSSC website, I know it will be hard for me to decide what to eat and in which restaurant everyday as everything looks so good.

Do they post (outside the restaurant) or provide you with a daily menu for each restaurant on a daily basis, so that you can pick which restaurant you want to eat in? How easy is it to get into a restaurant that you would want to go to on that particular evening. I know they ask for reservations for two of the restaurants but do they fill up, is there flexibility, is one able to get into a restaurant without a reservation on a particular evening? I beileve that I may have read that they rotate the menus? Is this true and if so, how does that work?

Any other advise on the meals/food/restaurants that one should be aware of?

Sure to gain 10 lbs!!!!!

Thanks.

The menus are posted outside each restaurant daily and are also available at the reception desk. Dining in La Veranda and LeGrill are by reservation. Without reservation you may or may not be able to get a table at either location based on how many tables are filled. However, you can get just about anything La Veranda by simply asking your waiter. However, I would suggest that you make online reservations for a couple of nights (the maximum allowed) just to ensure that you can enjoy all of the dining options. You are in for a fabuolous experience...there is nothing else in the world like the Paul Gauguin. It is very understated in its elegance, but the tropical scenery is as dazzling as the most elaborate cruise ship ever conceived. We have been onboard for two cruises (total of 25 nights) and look forward to many more! Bon voyage!

We just returned and every meal was great. We were able to get reservations at La Grill three times. Each restaurant was great. Dress was more casual than I expected and I liked that.
