Great review of your Russion trip. Excellent photo show also. We are thinking about booking the same cruise next year on the Westerdam ( late Aug/early Sept' ) and found this information to be very helpful. There are no prices published on the Palladium site!! How can we find out the cost of the tours??
I would be interested in your opinion of the Noordam, we will be travelling on her in the Med' Oct 4th. 2004. Looks like it is almost sold out.

Palladium charged us $10 per hour for the guide and $12 per hour for the car and driver. While it wasn't a Mercedes or anything, it was a very decent car, with AC. I tried to get around having to use the car then entire second day, because of cost, but it ended up being so worth it to have that ability to be dropped off right in front of each place we went.
I think it still ended up being less expensive than a ship excursion, and we tailored it exactly the way we wanted it. I will probably need to do a couple of posts - one on the Noordam in this thread, and one on Palladium in the Baltics thread. I'll let you know when I get those done.
I can't recommend Palladium highly enough. They made our time in Russia wonderful:)
