Holland in Comparison?

Hi There,
Well we just returned from our third cruise w/ Costa Cruise Lines and I must say we were less than impressed w/ Costa. However, last year we were spoiled rotten on Royal Caribbean, Radiance of the Seas. Can anyone give us some feedback on Holland as that is our 2009 Cruise. We will be sailing on Noordam. We just don't want to make another mistake like we did w/ Costa. And, by the way, we read the reviews prior to sailing about Costa and Yes, you are all correct. Costa is not for Americans. Please help. Thanks

I feel that HAL is a step up from RCI in many areas. More refined, better food, and perhaps a bit more formal. But is isn't as "active" as an RCI cruise would be either.

Mr. Kirk, I'm sorry you didn't enjoy yourself. We were on the Fortuna Jan 20 - Jan 27. We enjoyed the diversity of the passengers, it made us feel like we were really on vacation and not down the road at our local amusement park. Some people said passengers were rude - we don't agree. We think it's just the language barrier. When you say hello sometimes you get the response in another language - that was fun.
