Yikes, my parents have found this sight, and what a wionderful thing it is!!!! They will be cruising with us for the very first time this February on the Rotterdam going to the Southern Caribbean and the panama canal. So help me out CC members and guests .... Please write and let them know that this experience is one that they will want to be doing for the next 80 years!!!!!! Tell them about what is great with cruising and what is exciting about the ports we will be visiting. Thanks again. Toad (waiting to be a princess again)

Dear Toad's parents !

Welcome to the CC board! My DH and I will be taking a cruise on the Rotterdam on Dec. 2, doing the same itinerary as you and Toad will be. This will be our 6th "Dam" ship and each time we cruise, we want to go again!! This cruising can be a rather addicting thing, but many of us have found that it is quite an inexpensive way to see many many places!! The best part is you only unpack once for the entire trip and while you are exploring the ports someone is making your bed and preparing your meals. :cool:

You will find many posts regarding the itinerary that you are taking, as many of our CC cruisers have raved about the cruise on the Rotterdam. It is one of the flagships of the fleet, and we really look forward to the experience.

BTW, I suspect your Toad is alot closer to Princess than Toad!!!:D

Hello Toad's Parents

What a wonderful ship you have chosen - the Rotterdam - one of the best in HAL's fleet. We were on her and did some of the ports that you will be doing when we cruised the Orinoco River.
