Home from the Zuiderdam b2b 8/7 to 8/21 !

Hi Everyone !

We are back and boy do I have lots to share :) so give me a few hours and I will start my review :)
After all it was not easy waking up to "no room service coffee" and "breakfast on the lido" hehehehe. We met TylerRose cc'er the first week and were unable to make it to the cc'er meeting the next week. Sorry we missed that meet, maybe next time we should all plan 2 or 3 meets incase we miss one :) Well back to reality, need to get a few things done then will start my review lol :)

The Zuiderdam is not my favorite ship so I am eager to read what you thought. I hope you can change my mind because there are some wonderful prices available for Zuiderdam and I might just want to take advantage of them.

We got a wonderful price on our suite aboard the Z for our Oct. 9th cruise. I checked a couple of days ago and the price on this category has been raised by $900. I'm very glad we booked when we did! Does the price go up like this often, Jazzsea? It is our first cruise and I'm new at a lot of this kind of thing.

Seems like the prices are going up on all the cruises.

For our October cruise, the suites have been closed for months.

But for our cruises in January and March - prices have gone up quite a bit. Glad we booked early.

For our October Zuiderdam cruise, there were only what we considered to be bad location Suites left when we booked. We took one because that was the only date that worked for us. A dear friend (who posts here) kept checking that sailing on the web and called us to say a perfect location (per our tastes/preferences) opened up and we should switch immediately. Thanks to her (and I really am appreciative) we now have a Suite exactly where we like to be.


And, best of all........she decided to book a cabin for herself and is joining us!!!

Our price is decent but we had a much better one last summer. I think we are paying about 15% more for the identical thing than we paid for our b-to-b's last summer.
