Hi there,
I am a first time poster here... I was wondering if anyone has booked onto the easyCruise Life Aegian Islands and Turkey Cruise 17/05/08-24/05/08. I am going with my other half and wondered who else has booked onto this and the type of cruiser.
I had a great laugh last year aboard easyCruise Two last year.. So I hope for more of the same with a bit more room and loads of sunshine!!

Take it easy, Hottowel x

Hi.

I am also on the 17th - 24th May cruise. Flying from Gatwick. Travelling solo and in the female 50 something age bracket.

Travelled alot on my own but would be good to know there were other solos on the cruise.

Please both of you take the time to post a review when you return! I'm on in October and I would like to know!

My wife and I will be sailing with you guys on these dates, we are really looking forward to it. We booked one of the suites actually, still quite happy with the price.

Had an email from Easycruise today saying that they are changing my cabin from twin outside to quad outside - saying they have made minor changes to a number and range of cabins. Seems strange that they are giving a cabin for four to a sole traveller.

I hope this does not mean the ship will not be completely finished!

What do you guys think?

Jayleigh, consider it an 'upgrade.' If you were on a Princess or whatever you'd think you were insanely lucky!

Nevertheless I'd love to see - somewhere - some info on the actual redo of easyCruise Life - the artist's renditions aren't quite the same as an update from the easycruise folks. photos, etc. would be quite fun.

There are other posters on the board who swear by easy cruise, and the cheap cruising....read thru these posts...:)

Sorry for the late replies... Well not long to go.. We have our flights booked. We are flying BA from LHR the night before so we can be sure to get there and have a mooch round Athens on the Saturday. Flying back the next saturday to Manchester with Olympic. I am really looking forward to the cruise. The good thing about EasyCruise is the wide spectrum of people going on these cruises. I made some great friends of all ages on EasyCruise Two. Me and my partner are both easygoing 29 year olds who love culture, food, sightseeing and plenty of wine drinking hehehe!!;) So see you all onboard in May. xx

Stu and I (Laura) will be on this cruise, and are first-timers. Have done much travel--of all sorts--and thought this idea was a great one. Looks like they've done away with much of what we don't like about most cruises we've been on. We're looking forward to trying it out, and hoping that it's as good as it seems. I guess we're relatively old--in our early sixties with loads of adventurous spirit, we hope to travel with some like compatriots! We're from Washington DC and are going through Friendly Planet (didnt know we could book it directly) Hope we get a good group who like to party just enough! (Let us know if you qualify!!;)
