Im not sure where to look or if they are even listed yet. Checked HAL site, and some of the large travel sites, nothing. Anyone with a suggestion where to look or when??

There is a 20 Transat ending in Rome (Civitavecchia) sailing on 4/30/2009 out of FLL on the Prisendam. On 11/1/2009, the Prisendam makes a 24 day return trip starting in Piraeus, Greece and ending in FLL. I'm not sure if they might still add more Transat itineraries yet for 2009 or not.

If you had asked before HAL's site revamp I could have told you where to find a nice chart, but it's gone now. :( All I can suggest is start with "find cruises" for all ships in April and October.

jtl513 -

Are you by chance referring to this destination calendar (http://www.hollandamerica.com/find-cruise-vacation/DestinationCalendar.action)?

Reviewing the calendar carefully for transitions between Europe and any of the Western Atlantic sailing areas gives a pretty good idea of approximately when and for which ships the trans-Atlantic cruises will be. For some, it's relatively easy to pinpoint some likely cruise dates within a day or two by using some other scheduling tools.

As an example, the Eurodam is scheduled for a 15-day Atlantic crossing in August this year to commence New England / Canada cruises for the fall. Next year, the Eurodam's first such New England / Canada cruise starts in NYC on August 27 (http://crm.hollandamerica.com/broadbaseema/ha4009/CNE_2009.htm). If next year's schedule is similar to this year's, that would suggest that the Eurodam would depart for NYC from Copenhagen on or about August 12, 2009.

Obviously, there is a lot of guesswork involved, which is part of the fun!

The earliest "sneak preview" location for future itineraries that I know of is here:

So far, only Canada/New England and Grand World Voyages are listed for 2009. Europe and Alaska should be next, but it may be a few months.

I received a 2009 Cruise Planner brochure at home, and I am pretty certain it lists all of the planned 2009 cruises (I got this last week). I will check when I am at home and post if I can.

I am interested in a TA in Spring, 09 also. After seeing this thread, I just called HA rep. I told him the April 25 date, and he confirmed that there would be a TA on or around that date. He said that they are putting the final touches on the schedule and it should be available for booking in about a week.

If/when he contacts me, I will post.

Don't forget there's been a round trip from Boston in July the last few years. It can be taken as a segment in either direction.
It's a great itinerary. :)
