I have a couple of price questions. (Trying to come up with a budget for the trip)

How much is the beverage card on HMC and does it include water, beer & rum punch or are they each different cards for different prices? I'm sure hubby will want to drink beer & I'll try the rum punch (Yo Ho Ho again) & I know we will have to drink mucho amounts of H2o.

Also, we want to go to the Baths & I'm wondering how much a taxi is back to the ferry, I don't think that is included in the package dealies the ferry companies sell. (We are not doing this thru HAL, we will go on our own.)

Thanks you guys, your knowlege has been a great help.:)

I believe that the only Beverage Cards that HAL has are for soda and bought mostly by parents for the kids. Altho I do know some adults get the Beverage Cards also.

Sorry --- I thought you were talking about the ship and I see you are talking about at HMC. That I don't know about - it is something new.

On another board I saw that on HMC you can get a soda/beer/rum punch card for $20. Soda only for $15. (Either way, it's for one person, and the waiters won't usually bring it to you - you need to get up and get it) It is not connected to an on-board soda card. Conflicting reports about whether you get it from the excursion desk or one of the on-board bars.

The last time we were on HMC the beverage cards for the island were listed on the Shore Excursion order form.

We saw a lot of people with only 1 card, but getting several drinks for others. You just show the card at the bar and they pour your drink.

Find Superstien61"s review from his cruise on the Zuiderdam. He mentioned about the various costs of the taxis and ferries to the Baths.

Yes, do see Superstein's recent Zuiderdam review. I believe he said that the return taxi was included in his ferry ticket with Smith's ferry. He told them what time to come pick them up at the Baths and it worked out fine. Around $22 round trip for everything, I think.
