That's weird! The wirednewyork webcam is a photo from February 28...and the Pied Piper cam is shut off!
Fred just gave me the old    ...we were watching the morning news...and then I told him I had to go watch the Noordam in New York. I think he thinks I've lost it!
Are you having a wave today, Lisa?

Good Morning Carol and Sheila,, weel at least it is still morning here in Las Vegas:)
It is a beautiful day here in Las Vegas as well in San Diego today. Not like it looks in NY:( Hopefully it will clear up for Sail Away om about 4 hours.
That is strange with the NYC Web Cams that neither are working but that Travel agent one does seem to be working, you may need to give me there link.
Yes, there will be a Banner Web Cam Wave today and actually quite a big group of CCers.

I was missing my fix of the Noordam in NY harbor, but the cameras are up and working now. Hope they leave soon since I'm going out in a bit. For some reason, I can't post the picture.

I see it has cleared up. She looks rather lonely there being the only oneat the pier.
Glad it is not currently raining so they can enjoy the Sail Away.

THanks for posting that, Lisa. I did miss seeing her sail...we went to an AAA Travel Show at the Foxborough Stadium (Patriots Stadium) today...so I did get my HAL fix talking to the New England Marketing Manager and some employees from Seattle!
Picked up some new brochures but didn't book anything. Because we haven't settled on anything yet.
I asked the NE Marketing person about their leaving NYC...she said they had a tough time filling the ship in NYC at decent rates. She said, being the only premium line there, they thought people wanted it...but it wasn't enough. I asked her if she thought they'd ever sail from NYC again, and she said, "No, we try not to make the same mistake twice."
So, that's the story.
The rates out of NYC were lower, I believe, than the ships out of FL.

Well, Sheila, I did see the Noordam leave...at about 5pm. It had stopped raining here.
That's too bad about never sailing from NYC again, but I kind of thought that was how it was going to be.

How many more times will we see it leave NYC? Sometime in April, I believe. Glad you got to see it, Carol! ;)
It's still pouring here...glad it stopped in NYC for sailaway!
