I'm booked on Ryndam - Feb. 14 I would love to hear back from you to see how you enjoyed the cruise and anything I should watch out for. Are you planning on taking the Copper Canyon excursion? Very expensive, but sounds very exciting.

Looks like you have an exciting itinerary! I can't wait to hear about Topolobampo! Mine is not nearly as comprehensive : only Loreto, La Paz, and Cabo San Lucas. I've done the Mexican milk-run (standard Riviera) previously. . .

Steve-
My husband and I sailed the Ryndam this summer and were totally impressed at the Ship's staff and crew! The cabin stewards were just awesome. (We had 2 different stewards on different floors on a B2B cruise) Theo Haanen is to be commended in his staff! :)
Very much look forward to your pictures of the Ryndam's upgrades. I am specifically interested in where the Greenhouse will be located and what will be removed to facilitate it.
Have a fabulous trip!:D

We will be on the same cruise - Dec. 4, 2004 and are really looking forward to it. We have been on the Ryndam twice over the past 3 years and really love the ship and crew. San Diego is a great port to sail out of.
Perhaps you should post on the Rollcall board and maybe we will find others on this sailing.

Hi DaveOKC :
I will do that! I look forward to meeting you on board!
Do you have any shore excursions planned as of now?

The only excursion we were planning on is in Cabo - the Lands End tour. We have been to the downtown area and they have some good shopping there also. I think we will take it easy and just walk around in the other two ports.
How many people in your group? It is just me and my wife.

I just looked up this itinerary - it looks fantastic! You are definitely getting away from all the usual "touristy" ports! Have a great time, and please post pics and reviews when you return. :)

Steve, We will be doing this same cruise just a few weeks before you. I thought it was just a bit different than the usual "Mexican Rivieria" I especially like it that we have 3 sea days. So far we have only chose one shore excursion which I already purchased on HAL's web site. We are taking the Deluxe Coastal Tour in Cabo. Luckily there are other CC members going so it will be fun to get to meet fellow CCers.
Hopefully someone will come forward and let you know they are sailing with you.

Lisa-
After I posted, I realized you are on this same itinerary... it sounds wonderful.. I only looked it up because we took a great excursion in Puerto Vallarta a few years ago and I wanted to recommend it - when I saw the itinerary, I realized this is completely different!
I can't wait to hear all about it!

:) We are on the Christmas Cruise a few weeks after that - I cna't wait to hear what people have to say about the Ryndam after it comes out of dry dock. I've been lurking and reading all I can about the ship since we've never been on a HAL cruise before. Have a great time!
