It's so sweet of you to wish a special bon voyage for me ... and I'd like to do the same for some of the amazing CC'ers that are also on this cruise. Not all have chosen to be listed on the Cruising Cc'ers List, so I'll respect their privacy. But here's what I'd like you all to know:
We have 2 couples celebrating anniversaries
We have 2 people celebrating birthdays
We have a San Diego native that's been teasing us with all the other sailings,
We have folks driving all the way to San Diego from Canada for this trip
We have 3 first time cruisers
We have folks who are bringing their parents
We have a family of 5 cruising to celebrate the end of a military deployment
Anyhow - there are 27 of us CC'ers in all, and I feel honored to be among such a fine group of people!

Don't know about your neck of the woods, but we had flurries earlier this evening. Hawaii in the Spring time sounds fabulous. Have a pineapple for me, will you please. :)

Oh, ye of few words. Well, I use a lot more words, so here goes---
The theme of the Zaandam is music, and it's carried out in several ways. There's notes etched in the glass doors, and golden threads woven through the fabric wallcoverings. There's also musical instruments of the famous placed around the public areas. One of these is a saxaphone played by Bill Clinton.
It really wasn't hard to find, either.
