We enjoyed them even though we are on the Oosterdam to Alaska in May (our first cruise). Thanks!

Without a doubt, your slide show is the most 'all emcompassing' I've ever seen. I would never have thought to take photos of my food! What a great idea! Thanks for sharing this. I was right back on the Noordam for an hour.

I think the food shots are some of the most fun! The presentation is so very nice to anticipate for us in May. But....being a "foodie" I supposed I am more into this than most. I am hoping to sign up for the "Food and Wine Magazine" culinary class on the Oosterdam. They won't take reservations until we board however.

Great photos...I loved the food ones as I didn't take any of those! Did you eat in the Lido most evenings? Didn't recognize the china as being from the Vista or the Pinnacle!
Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for all the kind words. :p
Before we took our cruise, I spent weeks looking at others' photos on Flickr, CC, and elsewhere... so, I decided I'd just take photos of everything... Return the favor. DH thought I was nuts sometimes...
I posted this elsewhere, but if you haven't listened to an iPod art tour from HAL, it's so worth it! Like an audio tour of the Noordam's amazing art collection; things you might miss otherwise.

JaneI've done that. It is really more of a personal demonstration than a serious cooking class, but I still enjoyed myself. Then after we got done making the food, they took us up to the Pinnacle to have lunch. Mmmmm.

oh my, that "sunsicle" looked mighty appealing to me, as I just trudged back home through the snow.
2 weeks from now, that will be in MY hand, on MY balcony, on MY ship :D

Dr1ce,
Thanks for an excellent selection of Noordam pictures. They brought back so many memories of our Noordam voyage last January and left me quivering with glee for our upcoming 17-day Transatlantic Oddyssey.
I especially loved the pictures of the pilot debarking the ship, such a fascinated thing to watch, El Morro, Noordam haunts, great stuff. :D

Thanks so much for sharing your pictures from Noordam 2008. I will be doing a 20 day Eastern/Souhern cruise on Feb 22, 2009. It is great to see pictures from some of the ports we will visit. I can't wait to swim at some of those amazingly beautiful beaches!!!!!;)

I don't know.. I guess I haven't been on a proper vacation in 5-6 years, so I just went crazy! Plus, when I go back to make a scrapbook, it helps to gave a lot of photos to remember the details, etc. But, you're right, it was A LOT of photos! I took soooo many more than what I posted online, too, if you want to know the truth. :o And some short video clips. DH is going to help me upload some of those onto YouTube. I'll post a link to those too. DH just got his underwater camera developed, photos of his snorkeling adventures at Coki Beach in St. Thomas. I'll add those to the Flickr gallery soon too...
Thanks for all the kind comments!

Our hometown got 12-14 inches of snow the day we arrived home after our cruise. That sunsicle looked SO good to me then too! I tried a bunch of "fruity" drinks on the Noordam, which I normally don't drink much... wish I would've taken more photos of some of the other ones to torture myself with now! Can't wait to see your photos (food, included) after your cruise! ;)
