Got my cabin assigment......under the aft pool

I booked a VF guarantee and was upgraded to a VA. I'm not complaining since I know when you book a guarantee anything can happen.

I'm just wondering if someone can tell me if I will hear a fair amount of noise, especially in the morning??

What ship are you on? My boyfriend and I had gotten a VF guarantee and were upgraded to a VA aft on the 7th deck... but then my travel agent called last week and asked if we wanted to upgrade to a SZ suite guarantee. we did, but of course now we don't know our room number and probably won't until we board on Wednesday on the Noordam

We had an Inside cabin (on Celebrity) once, under the main pool, but towards the aft end, nearer the pool area grill. I had the same concerns, but they proved to be unfounded....we never heard a thing. Hope you find the same.

What was the charge for the upsell to SZ guarantee?

We were on the Navigation deck under the pool area on the Westerdam once. It was not problem. Some complain that they hear deck chairs being moved in the morning. I think we noticed it once, and it was no big deal. The location is very convenient and you should enjoy the cabin.

We always book aft and yes, there is occasionally noise on deck 8 which we prefer. But, it is a small concession for the best location on the ship!

At first I was a little bummed about the location but when I told my husband he thought it was great...........close to the pool, lido, gym and dining room which are definite priorities! Thanks for your response it made me feel better.
