I'm holding my breath. My TA just told me that my docs are "in town ... on a truck" and should be delivered to her in the afternoon mail within an hour or so. We're 19 days from leaving town ... but this is much later than we've ever gotten them before.

Greg; You will have a great day on October 10- have all cameras ready,charged and loaded with film. Zaandam will be with three other ships travelling eastward through the Panama Canal. Accompanying Zaandam will be Veendam, Oosterdam and Summit. Get up early that morning and enjoy sailing under the Bridge of Americas- You will have some marvelous " photo ops". Enjoy the Zaandam, she is a great ship. We will meet you in 11/05 on the Veendammers .

Thanks, Venture! I knew about the Oosterdam and the Veendam passing through with us that day, but I didn't know about the Summit. I'm looking forward to the passage. I've read a great deal on a journey through the Canal zone, including several reviews of the passage; we'll be up early early early, with cameras and plenty of Compact Flash cards ready, videotape for the camera, rested and ready to cross from port to starboard, fore and aft, and back again. It's going to be great!
