I finally made it up for work - today..... :D

All kidding aside, yesterday I got super busy and did not check in, sorry! I will go back and see if I can find which post re: the Volendam - it was getting really late and I can't remember which one we were having that dialogue on. :)

Today is a slooow day for the boards - they were really hopping Saturday night! I had a great time. :)

I have to tell you I laughed hysterically reading your night of fun! I felt like I really missed out. So next morning I was writing "Wake up wake up" and so on and on. My posts went on forever. Finally Gretchen posted saying she could see I was lonely. You have to go back and read them because it's so funny. It was Revneal's religion thread, oddly enough. Anyway, I could see you hadn't posted all day so I figured you'd worn out your little fingers the night before:D .

Actually it wasn't that much after all. I only posted about 4 times....it seemed forever because nobody answered;). I was looking into the Volendam cruise and couldn't figure out why it was $1000 more than the 3/10 Western on the same ship. Revneal has since posted that 3/20 is Easter week so that explains it.

I haven't seen Vicar on the boards since Saturday night either!!!

Maybe he's still sleeping! :D

I wish you could go with us on the 3/20/05 Volendam - I don't know why the price is so high - we went on the Maasdam last Easter and it was the cheapest itinerary we found.

No, no, I'm quite sure I've seen his posts since then. I can't remember where, but I'm sure I saw him.

Hi just saw you here tonight and then saw this thread

Dosen't look too good for the Volendam for us .

Gf not sure right now if she can get the time off, plus she reminded me (LIKE I NEED TO BE REMINDED *LOL*) that We are gonna be shelling out big time for my daughters colleg expenses

EX and I are supposed to split this, but if she comes anywhere near giving me half I will faint :(

Plus I saw a post where Rev mentioned Easter will be that week and my Mom usually comes up to spend the holiday with us.

:( I am sorry , sounded really great at the spur of the moment and would have loved to go, but the cost of living la vida loca *LOL* is prohibiting it

Hey, Vicar, EKerr will be glad you didn't sleep thru the last few days;) ... you can see she was looking for you!

We can't do that cruise either ... too bad. Too darned expensive. Do you know there's a 3/10 cruise on the same ship for the same # of days and it's $1200 less??? I think that's because it's not over Easter. So I'm thinking of going after DH for that one. It's the only 10 day in the Western Caribbean all year long.

Oh, btw, I meant to tell you that you can only have a renewal of vows in a port. They won't marry you on the ship. We're travelling with our friends this November and they wanted to get married onboard, but they won't do that anymore.

Still, you and GF could elope and then renew your vows on your cruise. That would be fun!!

I know
I had seen a few posts about the big price difference between the two weeks . I think you are right about the Easter factor

Oh eloping is just not a factor. GFs parents would kill us. I have been married before and it was pretty big so my mom wouldn't be too too dissappointed , but this is first time for GF and her mother has big plans :)

hell as long as she is shelling out for it, she can have at it *LOL*

HeatherInFlorida

I can relate to that. When I married it was my first (DH second) and my mom insisted on the "wedding". I just thought you had said something about eloping on another thread, but now I realize you were kidding.:D

Vicar

Oh I did threaten to elope , but that just ain't gonna happen

Now the honeymoon will definately be on a cruise ship.

not sure where , but it will definately be a cruise :)

Are you kidding , I would love to have you all show up, We would have a blast *LOL*

A few years ago a bunch of us went to Vegas with my Buddy and his bride on their honeymoon, at their insistance. *LOL* We had a ball !!!!!

Naturally the newlyweds took off for a little time to themselves, but otherwise we were all together and had a great time.

Just a suggestion. We're already booked on the 3/26 Zuiderdam sailing out of FLL. It's only 7 days, but the fares are pretty attractive. Love to have all of you join us.

Heather

I post when we would leave on our honeymoon and what ship.

I really think it would be great to have all you guys on board. I will probably be a good year or so away, but we definately know our honeymoon will be a cruise , that is the one thing we have talked about.:)

My best guess would be it would be a Hawaiian cruise. Because She loved Hawaii. (I have never been) and for some reason I would rather see Hawaii on a cruise than a land trip.

In fact if you want to fly in for the wedding , we would love to have you.

In fact you could be bridemaids.

S7S, Heather, Lois, Ekerr19,

You and GF could all go out and pick out some lovely bridesmaids gowns

Big hoop skirts, three quarter length sleeves, in lime green, apricot and tangerine *LOL* Sure they are expensive but you can always wear them again.

Just think if Juan and Evita Peron ever come back to power , you have something to wear to the Inauguration gala. *LOL*

There I go again.....coffee spit all over my computer screen. Vicar you must stop this. You are making me laugh far too much. Someone might accuse us of having fun......That might be against some rule or other.

Lme green, apricot and tangerine ALL in ONE Garment??? We'll be 'lookin mighty 'purdy' all gussied up for formal night in our wedding frocks.

We would definitely have a blast.......I 'm laughing already just thinking about it.

Bridesmaids, indeed.......:D

You are gonna be sending me a big Windex bill for cleaning off your screen if I don't stop *LOL*

If you would like you could be Matron of Honor and we could add a big picture hat and a parasol to the outfit. *LOL*

Don't feel bad
REVNEAL and Orcrone are going to be ushers and they will have tuxes that match your gowns , so you son't be alone in this *LOL*

"FUN" on the CC boards??? , I just thought this was here for the passing on of info about cruising.

Vicar-

My favorite colors! How'd you know? Of course, we can wear them again... perfect formal night attire. :D

Hey, maybe our daughters could be Junior Bridesmaids with their Del Sol outfits and nail polish???

Just realized that Lois and Heather haven "RSVPed" to this wedding yet *LOL*

I hope that everything is okay down there . Last I heard was that Frances was in the Bahamas but its heading their way, and its supposed to be a pretty wide storm.

praying and keeping fingers crossed for them

Ahh, you are making my morning much brighter! :) Have you seen Heather this morning? I'm a bit worried about her - I think they were planning on staying home and trying to weather it...

Carol (jazzsea) is in WPB too - I've traveled there on business a few times, we had an office right on Flagler Dr - overlooking the causeway, I wouldn't want to be there when Frances hits....

Haven't seen either of them today. Lois might be at work.
I don't think it is that bad there now (According to what I have heard) but its coming

I haven't seen any posts this AM from Lois, either... but I'm sure they have much more important things on their minds. I do worry about everyone in Frances' path.

How about if we put 'the wedding festivities' on hold until our friends in Florida can join in. Doesn't seem right somehow to be getting Heather et al dressed in lime green and tangerine when they are trying to get storm shutters on her windows. I truly am very worried about them all.

of course you are invited :)

S7S

you are very right. I just saw her post on the other thread about how they are boarding everything up.
It really is scary and I pray all will be okay.
