Specifically to a Vista Class ship, after picking up the naturalist in Glacier Bay, can we hear the presentation in our room (if we are viewing from our balcony) or do we need to be present on the deck? I understand that some cruise lines pipe it in over the loudspeaker in the hallway and you must leave a door open to hear and some use the television. How does HAL handle it? Thanks:) Received our documents this week!! Woo Hoo:D

On our last cruise to Alaska you could only hear him on deck, not thru the TV...

The ships are all supposed to now have all bridge annoucements broadcasted over the bow channel in scenic cruising...however being a crew member, I can attest that every ship is different an doesn't necessarily follow the company regulations. Never fear, the CD and all of the crew will tell you anyway over and over where to hear commentary and if it will be in your room. In addition, that info will be in the daily program as well, so no need to start fretting so early.;)

Thanks Funlovin, however, I prefer to think of myself as a planner, not a fretter!;)
