Cabin assignment - upgrade VF to VA

Hi all

I'm happy today as we have just checked online and have now been allocated our cabin assignment - we were on a VF guarentee have been allocated a cabin on Navigator deck - VA8071.

Pleased that we now have a cabin, and very pleased that the upgrade fairy has visited, not so sure about being under the Lido deck, we think we are underneath the grill area, how much noise will there be?

Long shot, but don't suppose anyone has any pictures of this cabin.

Finally feel like we are now going cruising.

I believe 8071 is one of the staterooms next to the glass elevators. All the Verandah staterooms are decorated the same on the Vista class ships. You can go to the HAL website and pull up the deck plans and photos of the various stateroom categories.

Nice upgrade. However, this cabin is the first cabin right next to the elevators so you might have a noise problem in that location. Happy Sailing!

Note to self - take ear plugs for night time:D.

I wouldn't worry about noise so much as the looky loo's glancing over at your verandah as they're going up and down in the elevator! It's halfway out of site but if you're standing at the railing, you're in full view of whomever is in the glass elevator.
