I know some of you are also Cunard fans. The classic liner is going through for the last time today. Here's one shot:

There are some shots of her in the locks on this Cunard board thread (http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=749896) if you want to see them.

Thanks.
It was the QE2 that sparked our interest in cruising. Our first cruise, well "crossing" really - opened our eyes.
Our travel agent told us "whatever you could expect from the QE2 you could expect from the Maasdam" when we booked our second vacation by ship. While that may not have been completely true - we sailed HAL and fell in love with the line.
Still, we will miss the QE2.

Thanks for posting the picture. I still find it hard to believe that the ship actually squeezes thru the locks.....I guess their is only one way to find out. Go on a cruise thru Panama Canal...
